Preface

How We Got This Idea ?

Back in 2017-18 when i ( as Shiva ) was in class VII my respected IT sir told us about the Wireless Transmittion Of Data in computer world. Then a child raise a question that can phones be charged through this technology wirelessly ? This thing fascinated me a lot. Soon my elder brother told me about the Tesla Coil which work on the principle of Elctromagnetic Induction. And at this time i already started my research about it and when i reached class Xnth i studied about Induction so i made a small setup video demonstrating the practical of electromagnetic induction. I'm thankful to EMC & Business Blaster for having me this great opportunity to turn my Curiosity into reality

How This Works ?

Here's a brief description about the working of this project / Inductive Chagring. Through it you can easily understand the basic fundamentals of this project

What is Inductive Charging ?

Inductive Charging

Inductive charging (also known as wireless charging or cordless charging) is a type of wireless power transfer. It uses electromagnetic induction to provide electricity to portable devices. Inductive charging is also used in : , power tools, electric toothbrushes

  • Electric Vehicles
  • Medical Devices
  • Power Tools and Tlectric Toothbrushes

How Inductive Charging Works ?

Working

So basically it transfers energy through inductive coupling. Firstly, alternating current passes through an induction coil in the charging station or pad. The moving electric charge creates a magnetic field, which fluctuates in strength because the electric current's amplitude is fluctuating. This changing magnetic field creates an alternating electric current in the portable device's induction coil, which in turn passes through a rectifier to convert it to direct current. Finally, the direct current charges a battery or provides operating power

What Are The Pros and Cons ?

Advantages

Advantages of inductive charging are listed below :

  • More convenient to use compared to conductive charging
  • It offers multiple device charging ( universal compatiblity )
  • Reduce the amount of cables and power adapters

Disadvantages

Disadvantages of inductive charging are listed below :

  • Inductive charging cost more than their counterparts
  • The distance is small, just a transition technology

Objective Of This Project

The main objective of this project will not be limited upto EVs , its much more than that. So our idea is to use this in houses and buildings and powering up the whole area wirelessly using solar energy or the usual electrical energy. Some common benifits of this project are listed below :

Environmental Friendly

Pure and clean energy over disel and petrol fossil fules

Convinence

Much more convinent and safe than usaul electricity

Easy To Use

Avoid the wiring part to much extent

Time Saving

Time saving as we dont need to plug the devices all the time

Future Development

Helpful for young enterprenures and genrating new jobs in new era of technology

Further continuing with the EV part we are planing it to use at Parking Slots and EV Charging Points
